How OT-FamilyCollab Works

A collaborative, personalized process designed to put you at the center of your child's OT journey — not on the outside looking in.

Your Journey, Step by Step

01

Free 20-Minute Intro Call

We start with a simple conversation — no cost, no commitment. You tell me about your child and what you're hoping for. I'll share how I work and whether I think I can help. If it's a good fit, we move forward. If not, I'll point you in the right direction.

02

Deep-Dive Intake Session

This is where we really begin. I'll gather a thorough history of your child — developmental, sensory, motor, behavioral, educational — and hear your story as the parent. What has worked. What hasn't. What keeps you up at night. This session forms the foundation of everything that follows.

03

Observation (Optional but Powerful)

Where it makes sense, I may observe your child directly — in your home, a community setting, or virtually. Watching how your child moves, plays, and responds to their environment lets me tailor strategies to your actual child, not a diagnostic label.

04

Building Your Toolbox Together

This is the heart of what we do. Together we curate a personalized toolkit of strategies — sensory, motor, behavioral, environmental — that fit your child's specific profile and your family's real life. I teach you the why behind each strategy so you can adapt and problem-solve on your own.

05

Ongoing Support & Refinement

Children change. Strategies need to evolve. We check in regularly to see what's working, what needs adjusting, and what new challenges have emerged. This is a living collaboration that grows alongside your child.
